6th Grade Fun Night - Fri 09/30/22

Glow Much Fun!

Thanks so much to the over 200 students, over 30 parent volunteers, and all of the WEB leaders and school staff who joined us for this awesome night out at The Brook. We appreciate our wonderful DJ, Seiji who is a recent Wilton grad, for his great energy and great music. Jacyln Gallo and her team created a night where the fun kept going and going!

There were glow sticks, dancing, dance contests, and raffles. We had some great raffle prizes donated from local businesses like Grumpy Dumping, Rise Doughnut, and Hometown Spiritwear, Clasically Cate, and SoBol, as well as glow themed pop-its and squishies. Thank you! Students expressed their creative side painting canvases and painting faces or hands with paint, glitter, and gems. Hoops action at the free-throw contests and pickup games were a popular station. Throughout the night, students stopped at the photo booth to take Polaroid photos. Pizza, chips, and ice cream sundaes and italian ice fueled the festivities.

After clean up, we realized we had a few boxes of pizza left that were happily donated to the fire station.

Please enjoy this little peek into the evening. Let's Glow! #TogetherWeCan

Thanks to some of our generous local sponsors of our PTA generally like Devan Chevrolet Buick of Wilton and those who add some Wilton flair to the awesome prizes at the 6th Grade Fun Night...The owners of Grumpy Dumpling warmly remembered attending activity nights as Wilton students, their mom volunteering, and donated a cool shirt for our prizes! Hometown Spiritwear donated a blanket! Rise Doughnut donated a fun shirt! Clasically Cate donated a gift bag of squishies! SoBol donated a complimentary kids bowl, yum! Thank you so much!

The PTA's mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
