One of the agenda items is a presentation by Principal Jory Higgins on schedule changes at Middlebrook for 2023-24. The school has been engaged in a schedule change study for a number of years, has been working on it this Fall, and more information will be presented about the changes being recommended. Shared as part of the board's packet is the Briefing Summary here. Families are encouraged to listen to the presentation for more information. BOE Meetings are typically recorded and this will be available after the meeting for viewing at your convenience.
Please note…
Families may have continued questions about both the budget and schedule changes at Middlebrook. There will be budget workshops in January and more opportunities to stay engaged as that process progresses. For the schedule changes, there will be parent/caregiver forums and coffees, and opportunities for parents, caregivers, and students to learn more and ask questions as that process progresses. Families are also encouraged to reach out with their thoughtful questions and feedback throughout to our hard working BOE and administration.
Thank you for all you do to support each other, our community, our teachers and administrators, our schools, and our children.
