Hello Middlebrook 8th Grade Families,

The end of the school year is fast approaching!

We are asking for your assistance as we gather 8th grade student photos, past and present, for print presentations at the end of the year Farewell Dance and Soaring Ahead Ceremony.

Kindergarten/Youth Photos needed from ALL

There will be a 2028 “Then & Now” Photo Wall for the students to enjoy!

Please email a picture of your 8th grader in Kindergarten (or around there) as soon as possible to: .

Please add name of student in the subject line.

8th grade Photo - Needed only from those students NOT photographed in the 8th grade  yearbook . Please also attach photo to this submission.

You can use the same photo submitted to school for the digital slideshow, we do not have access to those photos for the printed photo wall.

Your help is much appreciated!

Pre-Dance Communication

On behalf of all of the event committees and volunteers, we are excited to celebrate our 8th grade students as they finish out the year and move on to high school!

This is a great chance for them to have some fun with their friends, as they dance, eat, mingle, play games and....just be kids.

Please remind your child that this is a school sponsored event and they are expected to follow school rules regarding behavior. School Rules

Drop-off and pick-up will be in the back lot at the drop-off/ pick-up loop. Students enter and exit the dance at the awning by the auditorium. Students are asked to please meet cars and their responsible adults along the sidewalk and not cross the driveway or parking lot. Students will be asked to stay for the entire event from 6:15-PM-8:30 PM, leaving & reentry is not permitted. We will have a printed list of registered participants at check-in, a printed ticket or digital copy on a phone can help speed up check-in but is not required.

Students should not use cell phones or mobile devices during the event. Students agree to not use cell phones or mobile devices during the event, particularly for the purpose of taking photos or video. Students and families can enjoy a photo opportunity at the entrance/exit of the event outside.

Food: Included are items that are nut free and consideration for sensitivities such as egg, dairy, and gluten free. If you have a specific concern, please reach out.
